CRISTHIAN DAVID BARRAGÁN FALLA

Hi I’m Cristhian, freelance journalist from Colombia and resident in México. Since 2006, I have provided training on digital journalism to local media outlets and journalists in Latin America.

I’ve been chief editor at El Pueblo newspaper and WebNoticias, chief officer at Agencia Gescom, a digital marketing agency and consultant for organizations such as Inter American Development Bank (IADB), Amunafro, Instituto de Pensamiento Liberal (IPL) and universities such as Javeriana, Nacional and Autónoma de Occidente.

In 2015, I founded LabMedia.org, an online community of digital media entrepreneurs to share content and tools about entrepreneurship journalism.

I’m also associated with Consejo de Redacción, member of the Border Hub, Internet Society Colombia and Alumni Fellow of International Center for Journalists (ICFJ).

I’m currently the founder of dateame.co, a directory of digital media outlets in Latin America and an accredited trainer of Solutions Journalism Network.
